The illustration, refined to the smallest detail, shows the legendary Battle of Chocim, where on September 7, 1621, 600 hussars charged and defeated 10,000. Turks. The huge hussar dominating the battlefield is to symbolize the strength of the Polish hussars, which, despite the enemy's 15-fold advantage, gave him advice in a beautiful style. In the foreground you can see an interesting skirmish among fluttering Polish flags and a blazing fire.
